meet the team Katie (Salon Owner)I opened The Chair in 2003 with the vision of creating a warm and welcoming salon that also has a strong artistic edge. I have a passion for the industry and am enthusiastic about furthering the profile of the salon and my staff. 7 years on, I still enjoy working on the salon with the rest of my team and love having a catch up with my extremely loyal clientelle.  Jane (Assistant director/ Manager)After starting a career in retail, I then took a step up into the world of hairdressing and now have been working at The Chair since 2004. I am one of the managers and a member of the art team, with an enviable position of being one of the main Racoon hair extension technicians. I have a strong client base and have accumilated a broad experience in gents cutting.  Su (Assistant director/ Manager)I have worked in the industry for 11 years and started at The Chair 2006. Since joining the team I have worked my way up from Senior stylist to Assistant director / Manager . I love being creative with cutting / colouring and have gained a busy clientelle , I also specialise in wedding hair and make-up.  Amy (Art Team/ Manager)I was trained at Vidal Sasson where I gained experience of both fashion and artistic work and also cut the odd celebrity! I have been hairdressing for nearly 9 years and specialise in both ladies and gents classic and creative cutting. I am also a manager and teacher to the assistants in the salon and have recently joined TIGI as an ambassador which enables me to continue my passion for teaching.    |
