Hairdressers from The Chair in Canterbury are one step closer to realising a lifelong career dream having made it through to two categories the Regional Finals of the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy 2008.
George and Jane will join thirty-nine teams and only 10 teams in the Men's image from across the South East region to compete in the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy, the world's longest running most stylish hair competition.
To arrive at this stage, George and Jane saw off stiff competition from over 1200 salons with their stunning photographic entry. This is the Third time that The Chair has entered the prestigious competition and they are determined to take their talents all the way to the Grand Finals in London.
Participating in a competition of this nature is great news for clients as stylists return to the salon filled with inspiration, ready to pass on their knowledge in the form of fantastic hairdressing.
George: I'm completely overwhelmed and excited by the competition. It's a great opportunity for myself and the salon to show what we're made of. Also proving that independent salons have just as much of a chance than the big chains.
Jane: It has been such an amazing achievement. For us to be regional finalists is just so exciting. I cant wait to show my final look on the night, and to just enjoy the chance we have worked so hard for.
